Many interesting information: specially for you.
Discussion and opinion
wow Mr. Eckert you are spewing the same bullshit you were at ace. You say
you promote free thinking and the ability to express new ideas. All I
remember you as is honestly a dick who preached what he could not deliver .
which in my mind is the lowest of person. Always on the prowl to take
phones hats and anything you thought disruptive (which clearly wasn't)You
work for a shit high school and you only get the satisfaction of people
pretending to level with you. Artistic freedom of thought is amazing. but
you don't understand its full potential. So how could you seek it? - ace students
Thanks for uploading this Video!
I always used to feel jealous of my friends because because they were doing
things which I felt i should have done like years before. so , i was
frustrated most of the time!
i could not take it any longers, so i started using this "myIdeas and
Actions" mobile app for tracking my ideas and fullfilling on my ideas in a
focused manner.
now, within 2 months, i have implemented one idea and made 2000$ from it! - sunil sai

*What if we asked our students "How were you an artist today?" Alex Eckert,
Vice Principal at Livermore (CA) High School, suggests we get out of the
way of our students, and allow them to have powerful ideas.*
Alex asks the question How can we adapt from the old model of
teacher-driven instruction to a more appropriate model where our students
are co-creators of their learning? What if teachers brainstormed on ways
their students could be innovative? What if we challenged our students
every day to be designers? Students already design all the time - they
choreograph dance productions, produce newscasts, plan ways to serve the
needy. They help their community and improve their schools. But in the
classroom everything is designed for them. What if they had the chance to
cultivate their own entrepreneurial spirit?
As a math teacher in Oxnard, CA Alex sought to create engaging and
meaningful learning experiences for his students. Inspired by Daniel Pink's
A Whole New Mind, Alex hopes to foster innovation and design in every
classroom, and is committed to an educational community that captures the
interest of our students through inquiry and appeal to their desire for
stimulation.
TEDxLivermore is organized by people from Livermore California who believe
in the power of ideas to change the world. The mutual dependence of
education and innovation means schools, industry and the broader community
can join together to build an ecosystem where innovation + education can
cross-fertilize and thrive.
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local,
self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like
experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to
spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local,
self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized
TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx
program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to
