Discussion and opinion

  • Try this youtube link for better advice - it is UK orientated, so bear with it, but it is better advice than what she's just rambled on about. Hope this helps. - professorclown
  • Is it really necessary to have a prototype of the device before applying for a patent? or is it possible to build the prototype after the patent is granted? :-) - digantabhusandas
  • Hi ovavoo did you manage to find an answer on that question. Because I'm with you on that one. - akasuperted
  • how about this; I have a prof of concept with a new material process that all the major billion dollars companies around the world are working on. web is going nutz!. I put a number of step together, sum off YouTube & I figured out a way to mass produce differently for pennies to there dollar !& they don't have thier bugs worked out but I do. there's been over 2000 patterns filled on this in the last few years, but my way is far superior. What am I to do?. Please anybuddy?. - Dan Murphy
  • What are the steps i need to take in order for it to be on the market...do i patent then design or design and make and then patent? - ovavoo
  • IdeabuyerLLC doesn't even buy ideas WTF ? You should be able to put a idea down on paper notarize it & sell it without the governments long arm of the law up your ass. Product help companies claim they do not evaluate ideas, but the 1st thing they do after you sign, is tell you it's not good enough until they know your out of $ & they own your idea & you paid for EVERYTHING ! • Thank you very much, - Steve Kc
  • Sorry, here is the link (youtube wouldn't let me post the whole link) youtube.com/watch?v=E8dlB4LUBI4 (it's by a guy called Phil Staunton) - professorclown
  • Sorry, but your advice seems a bit sort of 'right bleedin' obvious'. I'm sure most 'inventors' are fairly 'switched on' enough to realise most of the pitfalls of a design and will find a way (Google, government websites, etc) to patent their idea. Sorry to be 'picky', but your vid seems a bit unprofessional too, as you keep smirking and looking away from the camera - this doesn't inspire confidence in your presentation. I am not trying to be critical, just honest. - professorclown
  • I designed mine on a piece of paper, where do I have to go to get mine patent and how much it's going to cost me? thanks - Pedro Acevedo
  • Mate, have you been drinking? Not being funny, but your grammar is all over the place and you sound a bit nuts (no offence intended). However, just read over what you've just typed and think about how it sounds. If you do have a bonafide idea, then just google "patenting" and crack on with it. I wish you the best of luck with your idea (and don't get ripped off!). - professorclown
  • have you ever invented anything? are you a company? thanks for he info! have a great day! - orlandotelevision
  • good solid advice, though I would suggest No5 is first....find a customer need first, then design something to satisfy that need. ..good luck..you will need it ! - BunkyOhare
