  • Hey Guys a little video I did with some research on POKKEN. A Pokemon Fighting game. I talk about POSSIBLE gameplay, customization + FLYING AND GHOST Pokemon. I didn't get into too much detail with Ghost pokemon only a quick thought on how they can be able to participate in the game, and if we have obstacles in this game.. and you are playing as a GHOST POKEMON, you are able to PHASE through them.   • You bring up a lot of points Im gong to talk about in my next video but the thing I dont like is type matchups in the game. This game should be close to tekken. Stun or bounds should not be easy to get unless you can get a punish. The problem here is you want it too much like smash and the anime. Putting pokemon in a unrestricted engine like SvC4 ould make the game too complicated and hard to balance. With a more tekken like engine, characters are always grounded, even the flying ones. They fly for a short time when the correct inputs are entered. I dont mind stages interactions as well but stages should not interfere with the fights but should be used to gain position or escape pressure. I'll talk about that in the video I'm making about stages. All in all you make some good points but I thing Pokemon like eeveelutions and Pikachu should stay in SSBB, where they do character scaling. - Chaz Olave
