I have tried both the cnd lamp and a 45w Thermal Spa lamp. Both had the
same results. - blueskies2349
I just wanted to tell you how helpful the video is to keep us on track. My
white turned out much better on reapplication. I appreciate the help with
classes being so far away. - pamw101
@Chloey39 I'm happy to hear it is wearing well and hope the salon continues
to learn. - FingerNailFixer
Thanks! This should help! - The1929jd
@Chloey39 buffing is not a suggested step, are there other salons you could
try? Have you seen the salon locator on cnd.com that could help you find
other options! - FingerNailFixer

have you seen the troubleshooting V2 video? - FingerNailFixer
@Chloey39 wishing you the best of luck, I'm sure she won't mind if you ask
in a really nice way! Maybe before beginning the service you could let her
know that you enjoyed your time with her last time and wondered if she
minded not buffing the nails and sealing the ends as you prefer them that
way. - FingerNailFixer

I made sure Blue film was peeled and all bulbs were working well when I
first started but still having chipping problem. - blueskies2349
are you using a CND lamp? - FingerNailFixer
yes, turn your brush around so that the tip is facing you, pull the skin
down and out of the way, then seal and apply. I will see if I can't find
someone to do a video with that has really short nails. - FingerNailFixer
I have been practising my french application and it seems that all the
friends I do it on gets chipping after 4-5days. I am applying it very thin,
curing for the correct time and I am capping. I am very frustrated as I
want to start charging for my product but am not happy with the result!
Does anyone have any tips on capping? I can't think of anything else I do
that would effect the chipping at the nail edge. Thank you in advance!! - Uniquaism
@Uniquaism Hooray!! - FingerNailFixer
My mom doesn't have a YouTube account, so I'll ask her question. She's a
nail tech at a salon, and she's been using Shellac for almost a year. When
her bottle becomes half-empty, it becomes thick. Is there a way to thin
this down? She feels this is wasteful and costly. - marocel
@Uniquaism are you using a CND lamp? - FingerNailFixer
the trick is to prevent it from getting thick, it needs to be well shaken,
it needs to be stored at room temp, and the neck should be kept clean with
the bottle closed tight. If you hit cnd.com and click on the Shellac Blog,
the most recent one is on how to get use from Shellac down to the last drop. - FingerNailFixer
Hi, I am having trouble with my shellac nail polish (not french) chipping
extremely quickly (less than a day). I am following CND directions and I am
not sure what I am doing wrong. I am using scrub fresh, thin layers of base
coat, 2 color coats, and top coat followed by alcohol. Do you have any
advice for me? Thanks! - blueskies2349
make sure you peeled all the blue film out of your CND lamp and that all 4
bulbs are lighting up - FingerNailFixer
