Maybe before beginning the service you could let her know that you enjoyed your time with her last time and wondered if she minded not buffing the nails and sealing the ends as you prefer them that way. - FingerNailFixer

  • are you using a CND lamp? - FingerNailFixer

  • I have been practising my french application and it seems that all the friends I do it on gets chipping after 4-5days. I am applying it very thin, curing for the correct time and I am capping. I am very frustrated as I want to start charging for my product but am not happy with the result! Does anyone have any tips on capping? I can't think of anything else I do that would effect the chipping at the nail edge. Thank you in advance!! - Uniquaism
  • @Uniquaism Hooray!! - FingerNailFixer
  • My mom doesn't have a YouTube account, so I'll ask her question. She's a nail tech at a salon, and she's been using Shellac for almost a year. When her bottle becomes half-empty, it becomes thick. Is there a way to thin this down? She feels this is wasteful and costly. - marocel
  • @Uniquaism are you using a CND lamp? - FingerNailFixer
  • the trick is to prevent it from getting thick, it needs to be well shaken, it needs to be stored at room temp, and the neck should be kept clean with the bottle closed tight. If you hit cnd.com and click on the Shellac Blog, the most recent one is on how to get use from Shellac down to the last drop. - FingerNailFixer
  • Hi, I am having trouble with my shellac nail polish (not french) chipping extremely quickly (less than a day). I am following CND directions and I am not sure what I am doing wrong. I am using scrub fresh, thin layers of base coat, 2 color coats, and top coat followed by alcohol. Do you have any advice for me? Thanks! - blueskies2349
  • make sure you peeled all the blue film out of your CND lamp and that all 4 bulbs are lighting up - FingerNailFixer
