  • Karabor and Bladespire are no longer the capitals is the best thing Blizzard ever done. The capital should be in Ashran, and only one faction should be able to control/use it, the other faction won't have any acess until they conquer it, only after capture, just like wintergrasp. - vaju79
  • Wait..people still play WoW? - chris notyou
  • Inevitable naga x pack has ogres for horde and naga for alliance? Thoughts? - Mardok Laing
  • awesome vid! I only knew about 20% of those - wowcrendor
  • If they're smart enough, they'll change the main hubs back to karabor and bladespire :) - BurnGuard
  • THE FUCK!!! THE capital cities ARE GETTING SCRAPED!!! - Julian Jesse Mare
  • You continually talk about (example) the "inevitable expansion pack of *__*," but if you actually research, Blizzard says that Warlords of Draenor is going to be the LAST expansion to World of Warcraft. - Khazgrim
  • i still wish they offered a more variety of customization race choice for each race. Like for the trolls id love to play as one of the hulking berserk-er type race from zandalari, and for the orcs id love to play as one of the red fel orcs or original skin colored orcs from nagrand. Stuff like that would definitely mix the variation up a bit - Bahamut Noctis
  • Blizzard never stated that they are removing Karabor and Bladespire. . . They just won't be your main hub. You can still go there and make it the hangout (much like the Shrines are) . I'm not trying to enrage anyone with this post, just trying to clarify. - Cameron Smith
  • No... Karabor?? They took away... Karabor?? They had the BALLS to take us away the greatest addition in WOD... Karabor??!! TO THE FORUMS EVERYONE!! LET'S GIVE BLIZZARD HELL!!!! - The Wolf with the Dragon
  • No capital city in wod?! Im dissapointed Blizzard.. - Ninja4editS
  • In my opinion, Horde should have stayed good ol' Horde; -Orcs -Goblins -Ogres -Taurens -Trolls Anything else seems like overkill to me. Specially Pandaren, I still hate the Pandaren despite everyone claiming that they existed before Kung Fu panda - I don't care, I hate the idea of neutral races and I hate the idea of another furry race. - Therodinn
  • WHAT? NO CAPITAL CITY IN WOD????? Bad, Blizzard, Bad - Tio Kwan
  • No beating about the bush here. Lore's (Community Manager) reasoning for this move is stupid, weak and pointless. Why? Here's why: *We’re not helping the Draenei or Frostwolves fight off the Iron Horde – they’re helping us.* Yes, they're helping us, because we're on THEIR WORLD, the SAVAGE WORLD, remember, the word that Blizzard kept shamelessly promoting? They know their own world better than any of us. And considering the amount of forces Khadgar was able to bring from Azeroth to construct our base of operation, we are at their mercy, because nobody else will help us on their SAVAGE world. We need them, YES, but they also need US, if we're to survive in the world of SAVAGE Iron Horde. *That, along with the continued development of Garrisons into the overall quest and story flow of the expansion, led us to the decision to develop the Horde and Alliance bases on Ashran into the major faction hubs instead of Bladespire and Karabor. Promoting the world PvP area on Ashran is a nice perk, but it wasn’t a factor in making that decision.* Seriously? I hate having PvP shoved in my face. If I feel like PvPing I'll go there to PvP zone, but I don't want it shoved down my throat. I mean even Dalaran wasn't doing it and it "almost" flies over Wintergrasp, Also, even if we use Garrison's for future quests, that's still not the reason to remove the current main hub. *That said, the Temple of Karabor and Bladespire Fortress are still there. We haven’t removed them or anything like that. You won’t be able to use your bank or check your auctions there, but they’re still fully built home cities for the Karabor Draenei and Frostwolf Orcs, respectively. You’ll still be able to explore them in their full glory.* OH, you mean just like the City of Gilneas?~ Ugh! This one infuriates me most of all. Even if the city still exists, it's existence becomes POINTLESS (except if you're role playing) unless you give it a FURTHER function. Because the way I see it, once you're done with leveling in Shadowmoon and Frostfire, WHAT is the point of them after that? To just stand there for your to take a temporary glance at it and than let it become a Ghost Town, just like Gilneas did? Here I thought you learned from Cataclysm, Developers... It's called Ghost Town Syndrome. Long story short: their reason is laughable, trying to promote PvP and making a copy/paste generic forts we've seen dozens of times. Putting main faction capitol outside mainland and on an isolated island, makes you completely disconnected from the world. Also, Iron Horde has a HUGE fleet of Juggernauts and with the size that these 2 islands are ( i.imgur.com/dLP0znj.png ), they could be bombarded to the ground in 2-5minutes. In other words, strategic position is really REALLY vulnerable. People need to start fighting back while the expansion in still in development and not let the developers get this abomination through, or we'll see an even bigger sub drop BEFORE WoD comes out. - Turmoil
  • I still hate the entire worgen to the Alliance idea. I think they should have given them the Furbolgs. In earlier lore furblogs were actually intelligent creatures, despite the worgen. They were fighting side by side with night elves for thousands of years. They live in Kalimdor. It would have been better than having a "no-city" next to the Forsaken. They could have been the ferocious faction in the Alliance still having the "inner beast". Around the size of tauren. Something big for the Alliance. They could have been the exact opposite of the goblins. Big+feracious vs. small+crafty. They look ugly? Yes, but the worgen were also reworked to look better. They could have made furbolgs look better just as easily. Taller stature and smaller head would have done the job. Similar to tauren. Their capital? Probably somewhere under Ashenvale. The Timbermaw Hold's main entrance was always locked to us. That could have been good. Maybe even connected to Darkshore for levelling. At least they would have had a capital. Reason to join the Alliance? Hyjal being burned by Ragnaros is reason enough. Or Malfurion awakening. Any reason is better than having a wall knocked down. Racial mount? Worgen had "running" but that failed. Mount=prestige, and running wasn't a mount. They too got horses later. If Furblogs lived underground, maybe giant moles would have looked cool for them. I don't care about speed, as we already have mounts that shouldn't be able to run yet run like horses. Their leader? Maybe the shaman Tyrande and Furion helped in WC3. They receded underground to avoid the corruption the other furbolgs have suffered. Now he returns to repay a debt to the night elves. No matter what, he couldn't have been more irrelevant than Derp Greymane. Their affiliation with the night elves would have been so much better than "a long lost druid clan of... zzzzzzzzzzz..." Classes? Shaman, druid, warrior, priest. after tauren paladins anything is possible. Apart from the useless "Two forms" anything would have fit the furbolgs better than the worgen. Anything. When did wolves become affiliated with the Alliance? Wolves have always been a symbol of the Horde and had nothing to do with the Alliance. This whole Logosh favouring Varian also feel too forced. Call him whatever, but don't make the wolf ancient hump his leg. Alliance has always been lions and eagles. Noble creatures. If they wanted to give Varian a patron, maybe a noble bear ancient (like Ursoc) would have fit him better. As for Gilneas, I liked the theme of the place. That could have been the new style of human towns, as orc towns got that Garrosh style everywhere. Maybe even adding the zone as a levelling zone or a PvP zone but nothing about friendly worgen. - Wlarius
  • Devs.... You're total idiots. Stop ignoring fans. - MDestron2282
  • People really need to get over the capital cities thing. I'm sorry but it's honestly not a big deal. - Anthony LaClair
  • Array - TheDDGuides
  • 1:48 The Emerald Dream and Northrend are quite diffrent. Emerald Dream is just a big green place but in Northrend there's lots of variations in zones. - Wailer
  • wow had no idea they scrapped the idea about the two major cities.. I seriously hope they either reverse that decision, or come up with a use for the two cities that is much better than faction use. - John Lyon
  • I would really hate to play as an orge. Orges in the game would have very limted choices for classes. They can't be preists or Monks. I'd doubt they could tame an animal with love like the rest of the hunters in WoW. Paladins would be a no show, and a Orge with two heads that can do karate jumps and flips? Get outta here. It would just look silly. - Dewayne Grant
  • you sound so sure blizzard will make more WoW expansions.... they took the 90-100 leap already and arent adding new races or classes...look at the patterns, level wise they went from 60-70-80 then they wanted to fit more expansions in before they hit a round number like 100, so they went 80-85-90 but now they skipped 95 right to 100.... and class / race wise, they first released 2 new races in BC, then an all new hero class in WotLK, then 2 more races in cata, then a race AND a class in pandaria... but now its just... player models? im not saying im upset, i just think Blizz is running out of gameplay ideas for future expansions, the story and lore of Warcraft might live on after WoW inevitably dies, and its end will most likely be after this expansion is over... but the story will most likely live on in a possible Warcraft IV, or a World of Warcraft II, or something completely different..? Warcraft the movie is being released soon too, and that might hold the end to Warcraft's story.... the point of this comment is to say, dont get your hopes up for more expansions, the way blizz is selling this expansion, looks a lot like they have runn out of ideas (ahem you got to play farmville in pandaria and now you build a house?) and need a way to close this game soon - Zach Webb
  • They kind of are giving the path of the titans a little go again with the new spell perk thing from 91-100 :) - Nuuccii92
  • Plz - Bankad Anka
  • Are they going to make any new races in wod I hope they will - guidemaster246
  • "We have a comment from Leakingtit" hahaha - stevo322
  • Unfortunately, I doubt they will reverse this decision. Tom Chilton and the rest of the oblivious people at Blizzard seem steadfast in their desire for the main hubs to be built with PvP in mind. I can't think of a time Blizzard has ever caved in to community demands to reverse a big change. At best, we'll simply receive some more quests in Karabor/Bladespire, as Blizzard will incorrectly interpret the protest as some sort of general love for these locations, and then they'll try to pimp out the Ashram forts with some additional art assets with accompanying screenshots to try to appease the masses. - Jenny Hozuki
  • satyr would make a good playable race, makes way more sense than worgen - 94Newbie
  • at 3:42 i threw up in my mouth a lil... - dandl doouu
  • Why would they scrap two such amazing (and complete!) capitals, just for replacing them with unspectacular camps? This goes over my head - Blood Pill
  • HAHA when i heard the nick for that Azjol-Nerub i loled so fucking hard my dog took a shit coz he was scared . Leakingtit xD ! best nick ever, expecialy when someone says it out loud - AVBsicfan
  • My theory about the expansion list - the list was made and it was correct, but after WotLK release came Activision and said - 'fuck this guys, we need money' so they threw everything through the window and started to release expansions with fewer and fewer content thus the list got outdated. - Midaspl
  • Do you think you'd ever do a top ten "Why you should play WOW" or something like that? - kchan4u
  • Developers that bend to the whims of mindless players are not real developers. - Kaiser Drache
  • Great video. Leads me to a huge question I've wondered about since Mists of Pandaria came out. With large area of Pandaria phased until certain requirements are met, quests completed so on and so forth, would it not be feasible for them to do this for the game so people who have not been playing from the beggining can experience certain zones and events that are no longer in the game? Or would this just be too large an endeavor? - Daniel King
  • welcome back Dolan! - Zito773
  • Hey yeah ok where can I throw in my 2 cents about the WoD capital cities. I sure as hell don't just want some little camp. I also loved the idea of Karabor as this big ornate draenei city. We have two draenei cities and both are in ruins, yet they have some of the greatest architecture in the lore etc. If they scrap my draenei capital city, then I think the garrisons should have style customization or make them unique to each race. - Robert Blackwood
  • Can we get a list of your top 10 (or more) favorite mysteries within wow like where are the shards of Frostmourne? Etc. - JesseTyrone7
  • You know, what bothers me most about the focus on the new character models while they put everything else on the back burner is that, while nice, they're essentially pointless. I could understand doing the heads (although they're only visible if you turn helm off), but re-texturing the entire body is silly unless you plan to run around naked constantly. I've checked my character model on Wowhead's profiler and compared it side-by-side with my current one and the only noticeable difference is the eyes because I actually play with my helm visible (as do a surprisingly large number of people, especially with transmogrification available). So, essentially, they're throwing all their efforts into something that isn't going to matter. - twitchascension
  • Quite possibly worst decision Blizz could make, both factions want to have an awesome liberated city, being an ally I was/am pumped to see Karabor, but if they are planning to make us have our safe points in some tents outside of Ashran... are you mad Blizz? - ArantirFo1
  • of all the things people can be upset at blizzard about, for example dumbing down your class by pruning lots of abilities, i cant believe people are most upset over a couple of cities. I hope those that are threatening to quit over it do actually quit, holy shit what a bunch of crying babies - dipcrap gofuckyourself
  • Dragonkin. Playable race. Maybe. - PuswadBelch
  • The one feature that hasn't been scrapped but not implemented, but much like the Pandaren who started out as an April Fool's joke, is one I'd love to see Blizzard actually implement. That's the Faction Change questline where you can switch to the opposite side and STILL retain your original character model and class. If Blizzard can give us Pandaren, they can certainly give us a means to switch sides and still stay as we were without turning into something else. If this were made a feature in the game, I would bring my Blood Elf Paladin over to the Alliance and never look back. - Stephen Sobotka
  • FEMALE OGRES HAHAHAH - Aaron Hooper
  • god, i remember wow, stopped playing it at lich king, im only 15 now, i played wow since the furthest point i remember, did not get a max character, but as you all know, you dont really remember stuff when your young, dont remember lore, and its too late to join now because its already to far in the series and its not like you can just install one expansion at a time and only play with people who have that 1 expansion installed, if thats a thing, please, CONTACT ME, otherwise, wow is lost to me :( - Zhon Hobo
  • So that's where all the insane ammount of money goes, to unfinished projects (some are finished!) that go to the trash can. Smart move Blizzard, smart move (not). - IruyAriviel
  • its like they gave the game to ppl who didn't ever understand what the true wow experience was or they didn't like it or couldn't fit in and now they're going to change it into this bastardized piece of shit, when really just like dd says they could be adding so much variety to the fucking game making everyone happy bringing back old schoolers like me or new schoolers as well, instead of taking shit out, they should already know by now that more ppl leave when you scrap shit then compared to when you add shit, its pretty fucking simple then you go back and balance it out or do that in the first place its not fucking hard, indie game devs are doing it with a miniscule amount of ppl, how is it that blizzard isn't capable or competent enough to do the same with the behemoth of devs and other workers associated? it really makes me sad, especially because Ive dedicated so much time to this game and the company, i grew up with blizz games and it seems they're slowly letting me down.
