Discussion and opinion

  • Hey... I've been trying to get my ideas out for a while now... keep in mind that I am only 14... but I have gotten nothing so far. It's really awesome! I have spent about seven or eight years on this and it could change the world! But no... I'm just a little girl... a loser at school... a fatty... a no one... a little girl who wanted to kill herself so many times that she forgot... I don't know about this anymore... if some one sees this message... then try to get a good message in your head. - Lizzy Wubby

  • *Seth Godin* explains that it's not the best idea but the idea that has the ability to spread that will most likely succeed. Even sliced bread - arguably the best thing since itself - didn't catch on until Wonder took the idea and spread it. Take 18 minutes for some self improvement. Even *your* boss can't argue with that. *#SethGodin* - Doba

  • Brilliant thoughts from a brilliant man. But more importantly, he brings up a great point about the power of an idea. Man is nothing more than a way of thinking, an idea. Everything is merely a perspective, a certain manner of seeing things. This means that our very feelings of weakness and inadequacy (and also our feelings of happiness and bliss) are also a result of our ideas. The reality is a reflection of the idea it originates from. It doesn't matter how many times I say it or how many times you hear it--each time you encounter an opportunity you will answer it in the same way: with habit. Life is an exchange between people--things only change when you participate in changing them. The only way to break this cycle is to take a risk where you otherwise would not have, to experience something "different" from yourself so that you can learn the different perspectives of people. We all have something to teach one another, but the issue is finding a medium to communicate these ideas. The most efficient and fruitful of these possibilities is the internet. This is my project to you, a collaborative effort in understanding the world and ourselves. If you think me a liar, then go watch my videos and see for yourself it I am being genuine. We can learn from each other, but only if we both keep our walls down. I don't fight for my pride or to be right, I fight for the understanding--and that cannot be done accurately without your help. Changing the ideas that we uphold is the only way to change the reality that we experience. -SpiritofSix - SpiritofSix

  • Oh yeah! The "TV-Industrial Complex"...otherwise affectionately known as TV-IC. (TeeVee, I see...?) TV-IC successfully spread the nonsense idea (a.k.a. LIE) that burning jet fuel can cause THREE steel-skyscrapers to melt and fall onto their own footprints, as neatly as a demolition would have done. Of course, the power of the TV-IC should not be underestimated -- it even successfully spread the "idea" that there were only TWO buildings instead of THREE. Yep...just ask Charlie Sheen about the power of TV-IC (which made him STOP talking about the third building, WTC-7). I'm quite confident that TV-IC will soon spread the "idea" of putting a microchip into every man, woman and child on the face of the Earth. All hail the Great TeeVic! TeeVic for VicTory!
